#Skulpturjakten (Sculpture Hunt) is a contest all summer long where we deliver a new picture puzzle every two weeks via our Instagram account and on Facebook. The winner, to be announced on 28 September, will go home with Cho-pang, a unique bronze sculpture signed by Carl Wellander.

The common theme of the festival is a sculpture exhibition from 4 May to 28 September, where members of the Swedish Sculptors Association are exhibiting 40 pieces in central Oxelösund, at the Koordinaten gallery and in the Stjärnholm Sculpture Park.

All around the sculpture exhibition, there will be workshops, seminars, lectures, guided tours, dance, theatre and discussions arranged.

The project is being carried out by the Stjärnholm Sculpture Park Association in collaboration with the Swedish Sculptors Association and the Municipality of Oxelösund. The theme of the exhibition is Sustainability.

If you or your company want to be a part of this historic exhibition in Oxelösund, visit our sponsors page or get in touch with us if you want to hold an event or activity in connection with the exhibition.

One part of the project is to create discussion about sculptural expression in the public environment and how art affects community building, both physically and in the human psyche.
Art is a means of discovering the world around us and our own inner thoughts. It gives added dimensions to human lives by challenging us to view our surroundings in a different way. By showcasing different forms of expression, materials and techniques, we want to convey the multiple facets of the concept of sculpture.

The Sculpture Festival ensures great accessibility for people with disabilities.
